How to Setup your Workspace in Adobe Flash
Work spaces in Adobe Flash & Adobe Animate:
- Workspace is an arrangement of various panels or windows
Predefined Workspaces:
There are some predefined workspaces provided by Adobe Flash for various users.
We can switch from one workspace to another workspace by following these steps.
Window Menu - Workspace - Select the workspace to switch OR
R.H.S of the Menu bar - Workspace dropdown box - Select the workspace to switch
Essentials (default): meant for beginners.
Developer: meant for developers
Designer: meant for designers
Animator: meant for animators
Debug: meant for testing people
User defined Workspaces:
Various Adobe Flash users like Students, Designers, Developers, Animators, etc. customize the workspace according to their requirements. Such user created workspaces are known as User defined workspaces.
Create a workspace:
Arrange panels according to our requirement -
Window Menu – Workspace – New Workspace – Give a name – OK
Delete a workspace:
Window Menu – Workspace –– Manage Workspaces – Select workspace to delete – Delete
Reset a workspace:
Switch to workspace to be reset (i.e. Workspace to be reset should be active workspace) -
Window Menu – Workspace – Reset (Active Workspace name)
