Intelligent agent is a program or software which perceives (or observes or senses) its environment through sensors, thinks intelligently and acts upon that environment through its actuators.
Ex: Robotics Agent:
Robotics agent is a program or software installed in the robot, which perceives its environment through its sensors, thinks intelligently like humans and acts upon that environment through its actuators.
Sensors: are used to receive inputs from the environment
Ex: Cameras (eyes), microphone (ears), touch screen (skin), balance sensors, distance sensors etc.
Actuators (Effectors): are used to perform actions on the environment.
Ex: Motors, speakers (mouth), etc.
