How do we have learnt English language?

Character set of English language: contains
Alphabets: A - Z & a – z
Digits: 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9
Special Characters: , , ., ;, :, ~,!,@,#,$,%,^,&,*,(,),-,_,+,= etc.

Character set: Set of characters used in the language for forming words, sentences, paragraphs etc.

As Java is also a language, it also has set of characters used in forming tokens, instructions, programs etc.

Note: All Java programming language characters are defined using Unicode character set. Unicode character set is a 16bit character encoding system; which allows us to represent almost all characters from almost all languages present in the world
