CSS negation pseudoclass

Notes:

CSS - Not (Negation) pseudo class (selector):

Syntax of not pseudo class selector:
selector : not(argument)
{
declaration list;
}
It selects any html element targeted by the selector, if it does not match the argument passed to not pseudo class.

Ex:
p : not(.first)
{
border : 2px dotted blue;
}
It selects any p element, if it has no class attribute value set to first.

Ex:
input : not(:disabled)
{
border : 2px dotted blue;
}
It selects any input element, if it is not disabled
