21: Lasso Tool: (L) in Adobe Flash
- is most commonly used to create a freeform selection
- Click and drag around freely on the stage to create a selection

Polygon Mode Option:
- is used to create a straight edge selection
- Click to begin the selection, Double click to end the selection

Magic wand Option:
- is used to select range of similar adjacent colors in a bitmap that has been broken apart
To use magic wand mode - Import an Image - Right click on the Image - Break apart
Note: Break apart converts Bitmap image into a Vector shape fill

Magic wand Settings:
Threshold: 0 - 200
- indicates how closely the adjacent colors must match to be included in the selection
- lower value narrows the selection of adjacent colors
- higher value broadens the selection of adjacent colors
Smoothing:
- indicates whether the edges of the selection must be rough, normal or smooth
